Hello,

I currently have a game going on my installation of GOG's AI War on my Windows machine. I can see in the game settings the folder where my savegames and settings are, but it is not clear if I can customise that location. Can it be changed? I'd love to change that to a folder which I sync with my other systems so I can continue the savegame on another machine. Thanks!

I haven't tried it, but in the game settings you can specify a "Game Data Directory." I'm not sure how much that changes, for example, will it also expect to see all the game resources there as well? But it should allow you to move some portion of the game's working files to the folder of your choice.

Hello,

I found it, but that line is just text and is not editable.... Anything else I can try? Thanks!

Sorry, I guess I never tried it!

Welp, you may not like this, but the game has no external dependencies. You can move the whole shebang from one folder to another and it will work just fine. Flash drive, Dropbox folder, you name it. It's not small, but it's the only way I know.

I see, oh well... I was hoping to just sync the save games, but OK. Thanks!
