I'm trying to install the DLC pack on Windows 10 and get the message saying my version of Fleet Command is not compatible and I must update it, however, it's version 8.023 which is the very latest version for which there is no update available. Help! Oh, and previous to the Win10 I had 8.1 running and had the very same problem.

This is a community forum for GOG, you should definitely report this to Arcen's tech support forum at https://www.arcengames.com/forums/index.php/board,3.0.html

The Arcen guys are very responsive on their forum, so this is also the route I'd suggest taking.

The reason I posted it here is because I bought it here and figured I can't be the only one who has this problem. I guess that's not the case. I also checked the support page here for AI War but there was nothing there. Oh well, if no one else here that bought AI War has had a problem installing the DLC then off to the Arcen forums I go.

Thanks anyway for responding guys.
Hang on hang on. Where are you getting the message, is it from the installer?

If so, did you by any chance install the base game, allow it to update itself and then try and install the DLCs? My hypothesis is that the game is in fact too up-to-date and that GOG's installer for the DLCs thinks that it's an old version because it doesn't recognise the newest version.

Yes actually I did try to install it over the base game.I bet you're right - I'm going to try uninstalling the base game, and installing the DLC pack - thanks for the tip!

Not quite what I meant. I didn't mean installing the DLC pack without the base game installed, I meant install the base game and then install the DLC pack before installing any updates.

So:

1. Install latest GOG version of the base game
2. Install latest GOG version of DLCs
3. Let the game update itself

I think the reason the DLCs wouldn't install is because they were 'too old' for the updated base game.
Has a solution been found? I am having the same problem.
