Ever since we heard of Polly, we knew polly would be an interesting issue for the dev to deal with. The question is, now, if you make certain decisions, is Polly born male and went through a full transition?

I don't know, but my understanding of the 'Innie' vs 'Outie' choice was whether Polly is post-surgery or pre-surgery.

Wiki says otherwise, but i want ot know for sure, not necessarily for myself. I think this one needs sovled, definitively, once and for all.

So did they add the toggle to make Polly a fermale and not trans or not ? Well I need to know because if she is trans this is a no buy. No offense to the dev but that is not my cup of tea then, no matter post or pre.

Wiki says yes, but i don't know. I'm not likely to get this any time soon, especially without answers. That's why i made the post: i figured someone would have and would likely have the answer within the week. I feel you, and there's a number of reasons. To be fair, the dev claimed in his announcement that it was because a large portion of the fanbase is interested in traps. The thign is, he did a twitter poll, and he used the buzzword, so we know where that's going. Yet, even those things considered, it was a third that rejected Polly for it. Downside is, devs don't really know how to interpret twitter polls. Either way, i'm interested to know the truth.

The game implies that Polly was born male, in that your "radar" doesn't immediately register her as a woman. Other than that, it's ambiguous... one of the potentially compatible people says she had a crush on Polly when she was a kid, and that's it. The scenes with Polly are all framed so that both an innie and an outie make sense.

I just finished the game, so I don't think there will be much more story to uncover. Apparently there may be DLC, so who knows what will happen then.

Comments i've been reading around implies that the dev is actually quite sensitive in general, but was especially sensitive to the Polly issue. I get the impression that Polly won't be approached for anything for a very, very long time.

Been a while but for the record with the 30% off I jumped and bought the game, so I'll play later.
Since the dev basically stated Polly is from fem on birth when chosen, I will ignore the crappy named option(still would prefer to completely ignore).

Also some of our perpetually concerned reviewers have downrated the game because of it's "poor" character depiction, which is basically a recommendation.
I mean gameplay wise I'm sure it's great anyways.

Honestly wasn't as good as the original. It lost a bit of it's charm and everything seemed depressing by comparison to the original (which was unusually happy given the reality of what was going on).
