No, Apology mode was only present very, very briefly, and was long gone by the release of the extra episodes in Jazz CD, which is what GOG has.

You can get Apology Mode if you download the EXE of the Shareware version of Jazz V1.0, and run the game from that EXE instead of the one included on GOG. I suggest calling it something like JAZZ_V1.EXE to avoid replacing the standard EXE.

Do be aware that the V1.0 EXE will only pay attention to episodes 1-6, though. Episodes A, B, C, and X won't be playable unless you go back to playing the CD version.

A pity. GOG Jill of the Jungle left in all the little digs aimed at Epic's rivals.
