I downloaded the respec mod and it tells me to install it to

C:\Users\YourName\AppData\Roaming\runic games\torchlight\mods\RespecMod

But the appdata folder doesn't exist on my computer under my user name. If any one could give me advice I would appreciate it, I really want the respec potion because I don't want to play through a character and find out I messed it up lik in Diablo 2.

Edit: Sorry, found out for myself.

The folder should be there it's created whenever the game is launched and is where the game stores it's settings. If the mod folder doesn't exist you can simply make it yourself.

That is the problem. Win7 doesn't put an Appdata folder in the "user" folder at all, nor is there linkage to anything Runic Games. Putting one there manually, would be ignored by Win7 I think, because there isn't one there by default, why I think that Win7 wouldn't even look there at all.

However. I found out myself. Appdata is a so-called junction in Win7, which isn't accessesible (spelling?) right away. But by using the "Run" from controlpanel (I have it in my "Start" menu however) and type; %appdata% , it takes you directly to the directory, and this is the only place, I find the folder Runic Games at all on my computer(!) Inside this Runic Games folder, is the mod folder.

But thx for input anyways :)

Actually, modern Windows systems hide system folders like this one and you have to manually tell Windows not too. Glad you got it sorted though.

Yeah, I generally just type the address manually.
