I have both the base game and the gold edition on steam, as separate programs. The base game of Tropico 3 is very similair to tropico 1, it's almost like a remake, except with a new road and vehicle system. The additions of the expansion, in my opinion, detract from the experience, makes the game a lot easier, and clearly, the original campaign was built without them in mind.

So please GOG, let me buy the base game of Tropico 3 without the expansion pack. Or maybe add it as a goodie to the gold edition release. As it stands right now I do not own Tropico 3 gold on GOG because I really just want the base game and I can't get it here.
