I just installed Tropico 1 on my 64bit Win10 system using Galaxy and it works fine.

In Galaxy, to the right of the Play button, there's a small button. Click on it and select "Manage installation", then select "verify/repair". Does that fix the problem?

No, of course it doesn't. That was the first thing I tried. Got a refund. Let this topic be a warning to other people.

That is why GOG gives 30 day refunds no questions asked. They may apply fixes but there are many types of computers and in some cases it will just not work.
