I can't for the life of me find anything in either the Tropico game folder and subfolders, or in any of the typical places in my user folder, that looks like any of my savegame files. I'm using Windows 8.1. Anyone know where these files are saved to, or if there's any way to delete old saves from within Tropico itself?

You sure they are not here? - Tropico\Games

Quite sure. Even though I have several saved games, that particular folder is empty!

Where did you install the game? If in Program files folder, try searching in %APPDATA% (it's probably hidden)

If you've got the game installed in Program Files, the files could be in Windows' VirtualStore.

Press the Windows Key + R to open the Run dialog and paste the following inside:
%userprofile%\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\
After hitting Enter an Explorer window appears.
Search inside VirtualStore if there is a mirror of the Tropico folder somewhere. If so, chances are high, the savegame files are stored there.

DeMignon: [helpfulness]
Right you are, another 5 rep on the pile for you! =D

I installed Tropico Reloaded last spring (DRM-free retail copy), before I found out that it's not a good idea to install games in one of the "Program Files" folders in Win 7 & 8. I've never had any problem with it being installed there (unless you count this one), so I never bothered to uninstall & reinstall to a custom location. Suffice it to say that all of my GOG games are installed elsewhere. :)

Anyway, thanks again, DeMignon! (Nice hat, BTW.)

Shit, I didn't see your second reply until after I had marked DeMignon's post as the answer. Sorry!

Hehe, vice versa ;-)

Don't worry, the answer was wrong anyway. %APPDATA% links to \Users\<Username>\AppData\Roaming which has nothing to do with installing games in "Program Files". VirtualStore is a subfolder of \Users\<Username>\AppData\Local (or short %LOCALAPPDATA%). That's why I put my 2 cents in on this.
