Tropico 4 - can't download game via gog downloader .

Anyone else with the same issue ?
Me too, been paused since it started.
I'm not sure if new releases are supported by the downloader since is not updated anymore. You can try the webpage or galaxy.

Yeah , it worked fine - I know .

But gog downloader is very handy thing ...
Downloaded via downloader and no problem at all.
Strange .

Now download via GOG downloader work pergectly .

Mehhh ...

Sorry for bother .
Hi Edward_Carnby,
I was about to say it's working fine for me just now, and might be worth trying again, but I see you already have. ;-)

I did notice the DLC installable is listed as a Mac OSX download, so maybe their Downloader links got a bit screwed up for a while.

I agree with you about the Downloader. No criticism of Galaxy, but what are being billed as its major features have no value for me -- I just want to be able to download the installables for the games I buy. I'm a bit puzzled why GOG keeps billing Galaxy as "completely optional", when other options have become almost inaccessible, and GOG freely says that they'll make no effort to support any other way of doing things besides Galaxy. What's so "optional" about that?

Tropico Reloaded gave me an installation error message and now Install button is permanently greyed out. So, it's not Tropico 4, but apparently there's an issue with their downloader. I'm also posting for help.

ChaosPlasmid:
The downloader programme/application this thread was about, has been shut down many years ago and replaced by Galaxy (and unofficial downloader and browser downloads).

Your problem is probably not the same as others in this thread had SIX years ago so you should have made a new thread or posted in the Galaxy subforum. Oh well.

So, are you having problems with:
Installing the game using Galaxy?
Downloading the offline installer using Galaxy?
Getting the GOG Downloader to download anything?
In the last case, you need to uninstall the now defunct programme.
